OUR ORIGIN

Welcome to our sanctuary of liquid Mexican gastronomy!

Mystiko was born as a result of our recent trip to Mexico and with the aim of bringing the very embodiment of signature cocktails to the Basque Country.

Among the states we visited were Oaxaca, Michoacán, and Jalisco , where their spirits stole our hearts. It was there that we realized that Mexican cocktails are the essential accompaniment to any moment, and we have a very broad offering. Therefore, it was with the help of my friend and now business partner, Ariadne, that I opened new horizons in cocktails. That's how I became captivated by the wide range of liquid cuisine offered by our beautiful and beloved Mexico.

With everything I'd experienced along my route through Mexico, my mind began to process, and with Doña Chepina's street concept from the heart of Tepito, I realized that concepts couldn't be merged. After an exhaustive market analysis, we realized that San Sebastián needed to develop more venues dedicated to liquid art. Thus, the idea of creating a cocktail bar arose, and I decided to turn to my friends: Teresa, Erika, and Ariadne, badasses and experts in various areas of commerce. They were classmates since university in Mexico and also companions along my gastronomic route from the Riviera Maya to the heart of Mexico City. From all this mixology, this cocktail union emerged with the desire to share this very Mexican adventure. You might ask, why Mystiko? For two clear reasons: to give value to the highly representative Mexican wrestling, with one of its precursors, the wrestler Místico, and also because of the mysticism implicit in Mexico.

Love for Mexico, many cocktails, highlighting unique flavors through exclusively Mexican ingredients that will enthrall your palate.
